1. The Nature of Service
SETLIFE.BIZ LLC is a productivity and estimation SaaS. We provide tools for time-tracking, location management, and net pay estimation for entertainment professionals. WE ARE NOT A PAYROLL COMPANY. We do not issue checks, withhold taxes, or act as a legal agent for your employer.
2. Accuracy of Estimations
All calculations provided by the platform are estimates based on user input. SETLIFE.BIZ LLC makes no guarantee regarding the final net pay issued by third-party payroll entities. We are not liable for differences between app estimations and actual paper vouchers.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SETLIFE.BIZ LLC shall not be liable for any lost wages, disputed meal penalties, or contract disagreements between you and any production company or employer.
4. Local Data Storage & Record Retention
SETLIFE.biz is an offline-first application. Your Job History ledgers, My Calendar bookings, captured script pages, private notes, and saved pay estimates are stored on your own device, not on our servers. Consequently, this data does not automatically transfer to a new device and is permanently erased if you delete the application or clear your browser's website data. SETLIFE.BIZ LLC cannot access, back up, restore, or recover locally stored records, and is not liable for their loss. The User is solely responsible for exporting and retaining their own records using the built-in PDF and CSV export tools. Your account and any purchased access remain tied to your registered email address and are unaffected.
5. Billing & No-Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of the SETLIFE.biz platform and the immediate access granted to our proprietary pay engines and local storage tools, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We do not offer refunds, prorated or otherwise, for any subscription tier (Monthly, 6-Month, or Enterprise). You may cancel your subscription at any time via our payment provider to prevent future billing. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
6. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
7. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of SETLIFE.biz, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached within thirty (30) days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in New York County, New York, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

8. User Liability & Third-Party Transmission
SETLIFE.biz provides digital logistics and ledger tools (including CSV Export, Digital Networking, and Localized Document Capture) solely for the user's personal convenience.
SETLIFE.BIZ LLC shall not be held liable for any breach of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), unauthorized distribution of confidential production material (including scripts or call sheets), or transmission of data to third parties via the device's native sharing capabilities (e.g., SMS, Email, AirDrop). The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SETLIFE.BIZ LLC from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from their misuse of the platform or violation of production security protocols.
